BECOME A MEMBER OF "TEAM TURBO" AND VOLUNTEER! ! !
Volunteerism and community support plays a major role in ensuring that the Hancock County Animal Shelter runs effectively and successfully. Volunteers are welcome and appreciated for thier dedication and commitment to our number one goal here at the shelter . . . . . making sure every animal housed in the shelter has the best care and the best possibility of finding a forever home!
Volunteers can perform a number of jobs here at the shelter such as interacting with the animals to basic cleaning. Our shelter is always in need of fosters homes, pet bathers and groomers, dog walkers, or just come in and play with an animal. Many times people say that they just can't come in because it's too stressful to see so many homeless and needy animals. Should this be the case for you, volunteerism doesn't stop there!
Volunteers are needed for off site adoptions, such as PetSmart, Health Fairs and other social events in and around our area. Voluteers can also help by purchasing low cost pet food and supplies or making financial contributions.
If you or anyone you know think your interested in becoming a member of the Hancock County Animal Shelter's "TEAM TURBO", please feel free to give us a call at (228) 466 - 4516 or complete form below to email us directly.
Please remember when volunteering we ask that anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult or parental gaurdian.
